Biological Control
2011 & 2014
"Must everything whole be nibbled?" asked Annie Dillard. Yes, "we the living are nibbled and nibbling," is her answer. This collection of patterns takes inspiration from the rhythms of life, insect life. In their amoral world, each species fends for itself, but in many cases depended on each other. It's an intricate, wicked, continuous cycle that sometimes produces awe-inspiring happenstances and leftovers, and sometimes brings forth an iniquitous beauty.
